Jared Kim and his friend, Bob White, set out on the 13th of May 2006, Jared's 50th brithday. From Keehi they headed to HH buoy which was discovered to be missing. But that didn't stop them from catching a bunch of mahimahi, and they didn't even have to use bait.  Jared said they actually had 17 strikes, all mahimahi. He also said they had enough to give away to almost everyone. Posing with that day's catch is Jared's dad, Peter Y. S. Kim.
